WHAT IS A BLOG?

Those of you who are my regular customers know that I mail out a newsletter every other month. In fact one will be arriving shortly for August.

Today I thought I would mention how far technology has come since I was a child. The changes are truly amazing. All homes did not have televisions and if you did the picture was black and white (and fuzzy). Plus we only had one channel. Can you imagine? I know some of you can relate.

I think of how the building trade has changed. One time the only way you could "drive a nail" was with a hammer. Now there are different types of cordless nail guns for different types of nails (and projects).

Times sure have changed. Which leads me to the point of a relatively new technology that hasn't been around very long: This blog that you are reading. What "is" a Blog? Most of us are familiar with the term but how does the expert (Webster's Dictionary) define it?

Webster says a Blog is: (a) Web site that contains an online personal journal with reflections, comments, and often hyperlinks provided by the writer;

Now that we have that defined I hope you'll check back often as I post personal comments, helpful tips and links of interest to you. I try to post daily except on the weekend when I sometimes get busy or just need a break. Thanks for reading!
